Through a Local Entity
Foreign buyers typically hold the flag through an Indonesian company — commonly a PT PMA — or another compliant structure.

How Buying Works
Four stages, in this order, with money moving only against completed milestones. Nothing here is optional.
Talk to the Sale DeskThe Sequence
We confirm the vessel is what the listing says it is, and that the seller is the registered owner, before an offer is put in writing.
An independent surveyor, not ours. The boat comes ashore so keel, planking, fastenings and caulking can be seen below the waterline, then goes to sea under power.
Title, registration, tonnage, survey history and every contract that transfers with the hull. This is where deals die, and better here than after payment.
Funds move at offer, at survey and at transfer — never as one lump sum. The beneficiary matches the contracting entity at every stage.
The Audit

For Foreign Buyers
Foreign buyers typically hold the flag through an Indonesian company — commonly a PT PMA — or another compliant structure.
The ownership route is settled with legal counsel before any money moves, not after the offer is accepted.
Sale and purchase agreement, title transfer, re-registration in the new owner's name, and a flag change if you need one.
On-site viewing in Labuan Bajo or Bali, and a charter on a comparable hull if you want to feel the layout at sea first.
The purchase price is the beginning. A wooden hull in charter service carries a running bill every month of the year.
Yacht purchases here are normally settled in full — there is no in-house financing. Ask us for a cost estimate on any specific hull.

Tell us the hull you are looking at and we will tell you what the audit will need.
